As parents we understand the importance of providing our children with stimulating and interactive learning experiences that are both interesting and fun. Adelaide’s Top Food & Wine Tours provide specially tailored food and produce tours that are available for students of all ages studying at school, college, university or TAFE. Held on-site at the famous Adelaide Central Market, our guided school group tours will take the students on a journey of discovery.
The school group tours will expand the learning outcomes for all students as they visit a selection of fresh produce stalls highlighting irresistible fresh produce, gourmet foods or native and exotic delights. Throughout the tour the students will be introduced to a variety of cultures and the social evolution of the Market.

WHEN: School Group Tours are available throughout the year on either a Tuesday or Thursday, (excluding Market Closure Day).
WHERE: School Group Tours are provided ‘on-site’ at the Adelaide Central Market.
TIME: Tour start times can be arranged to suit the requirements of individual groups.
DURATION: School Group Tours are of approximately 1 hour duration.
GROUP SIZE: To minimise the interference of the normal daily trade of the Market vendors, School Group Tours are limited to a maximum of 20 (Twenty) students per school group. Multiple groups can be arranged with prior notice.
MEETING POINT: From the bottom of the DOWN escalator located in the centre of the Market (refer map)
CARERS: It is appreciated if carers are kept to the minimum requirement provided by your school policy.
COST: $110.00 per School Group Example: Up to 40 students = 2x School Groups @ $110.00 per group ($220.00 Total)
LUNCH: To further enhance the day, as an additional service, we are able to arrange a selection of lunch options for the students whilst visiting the Adelaide Central Market. Please let us know if we can assist you with these arrangements
